Briga News Nigeria
The next generation of women in leadership should be nurtured through education, mentorship and empowerment.
I hope this finds you all well. We are using this medium to call COMR PUKON EBIELAMENE NERISSA to contest for the position of Woman Leader in the forthcoming IYC Western zone election. We believe that this role presents a significant opportunity to advocate for the interests and concerns of women in our zone and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse environment and beyond.
In almost all spheres of life and for centuries, women have continued to contest against restrictions and selective rights to significantly contribute to the governance of their societies and COMR PUKON EBIELAMENE NERISSA has been solemn part of it.
The reason behind our decision for her to pursue this position is rooted her passion for gender equality, empowerment, and creating a supportive atmosphere for women to grow and succeed. We firmly believe that by her actively engaging in leadership roles, she can drive positive change and foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
During her tenure in this IYC IDUWINI clan, she has been fortunate to work closely with many of you and witness firsthand the incredible talent, dedication, and potential that most of our female colleagues possess. If she’s elected as the Woman Leader, we believe she will strive to:
1. Promote Gender Equality: she will work towards ensuring equal opportunities for women in all aspects of our Council, including recruitment, career development, and decision-making processes.
2. Support Professional Growth: she will advocate for training programs, mentorship initiatives, and networking opportunities that empower women to enhance their skills, expand their knowledge, and advance their careers.
3. Foster an Inclusive Environment: she will actively promote a workplace culture that celebrates diversity, respects different perspectives, and provides a safe space for open dialogue and collaboration.
4. Address Concerns and Issues: she will serve as a voice for women, addressing their concerns, and working with management to implement policies and practices that address any disparities or challenges they may face.
We would be honored to have your support and collaboration throughout this campaign even as we encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with us, as we firmly believe that collective input leads to better decision-making and outcomes. Together, we can make a real difference and create an environment where everyone thrives.
Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to your support.
