Revered youth group from the Oil rich Ogulagha Community, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, under the auspices of Ogulagha Youth Association has called on the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori JP to include and appoint well-meaning sons and daughters of the kingdom who played pivotal role and suffered for the party during the 2023 polls.
The group asserted that the call is paramount to the political class that contributed immensely to the victory of the party inorder to have a sense of belonging and the kingdom which have added economical value and growth to Delta State and Nigeria at large in the provision of peaceful and conducive atmosphere for IOCs and individual firms operating in the area.
In a statement made available to Briga News Nigeria, signed by President of the association, Comr. Austin Tukorogha.
The group noted that Ogulagha Kingdom citizens across board should be considered and included into various offices has they have worked tirelessly for the party.
Speaking further, the youths uses the opportunity to Congratulates Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, expressing confidence in his M.O.R.E Agenda to better, prosper and advance Delta.
They particularly maintained that appointments such as Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Board Chairmen and Members amongst others, be given to Ogulagha Kingdom indigenes.
They also enjoined Governor Oborevwori to prioritize riverine areas development via construction of bridges and roads to link different riverine communities.
