Youth Leader from the oil rich Ogulagha Community, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Engr. Anthony Okilo Waterwei has congratulated the member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Julius Pondi on his Emergence as Chairman House Committee on Environment in the Nigeria’s House Of Representative.
In a Congratulatory message made available to Briga News Nigeria, Waterwei describe the appointment as well deserving and timely, ranging from the level of environmental degradations that rocks the Niger Delta areas.
According to him, Pondi has redefine Burutu Politics with his many impact and even distribution of democratic dividends.
“We the Ogulagha youths are proud of you has you have become a role model and icon of emulation to us.
“With your new office has the House Committee Chairman of Environment, we are confident, that you will deal decisively with the issue of environmental degradations in the Niger Delta, particularly Ogulagha Kingdom where the liquid gold is being milked daily without much impact on the lives of her people and the environment.
The former Youth President of Ogulagha Community also prayed for more lifting and higher grounds to Hon Pondi.
