From the palm oil economy to the era of oil and gas and post amnesty, Ozobo has redefine patriotism and nationalism with his continuous advocacy and activism for a better Niger Delta.
When Niger Delta was at gun point, with heavy military presence, Ozobo’s voice was loud.
Like Harold Dappa Biriye, Isaac Boro, Oronto Douglas, Comr. Joseph Evah, Ozobo has written his name in gold and in the sand of time.
Ozobo’s guts, temerity, bravodo in telling the Niger Delta story is laudable, commended as he is an authority on the socio-political and economic root cause of the Niger Delta struggle.
He is an Ijaw nationalist, founder and President of the Ijaw People Development Initiative, IPDI, Secretary General, Center for the Defence of Human Right, pioneer president, Delta Ijaw Comrade Community, DICC, pioneer President, Ijaw Publisher Forum, IPF.
Ozobo, has indeed contributed his quota for the betterment of the Niger Delta via the print and electronic media, his voice is a global voice to reckon.
The history of the Niger Delta liberation struggle cannot be authoritatively told, without mentioning and studying characters like Comrade Austin Ozobo.
Ozobo is patriotism, Ozobo is nationalism, Ozobo is liberation, Ozobo is struggle and Ozobo represent a better, brighter, and advanced Niger Delta region, where people live to own and enjoy their Wealth.
It is a pleasure to bring to the forefront your dexterity, intrepidity, doggedness and lifelong struggle for the Ijaw Nation.
