The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Combolous Ikisa on Friday 13th, October 2023 supervised the construction of the approved link road from the office of the Local Education Authority, LEA, to the residential quarter of the DSS in Burutu, the local government headquarters.
During the work supervision, the council chairman reiterated his commitment to give Burutu Local Government a better administration.
He believes continuity is crucial for sustainable governance and pledge to continue the good work of his predecessor, Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele, now Commissioner for Housing.
The council chairman is also committed to achieving the goals of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E agenda, which aims to improve Delta State.
The chairman was joined by the council’s Secretary, Hon. Prince Sunny Perekeme, Hon. Chief Clark Akporebo, ward 10 PDP Chairman among others.
