The Member Representing Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor has emerged Speaker of the 8th Assembly.
Guwor, who was a top contender for the speakership emerges victorious after he was nominated unopposed in the floor of the house.
With his emergence, he is Delta 8th Assembly Speaker.
He was nominated by Hon Ferguson Onwo representing Isoko South Constituency ll, a contender of the office of Speaker and was seconded by Hon Marilyn Okowa Daramola representing Ika North East and daughter of former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Meanwhile, Hon Akpowowo Arthur representing Ethiope East Constituency emerges Deputy Speaker.
There’s however wide jubilations has in Warri South West and the State Capital, Asaba, with the emergence of Hon Emomotimi Guwor.
