Akpabio Emerges President of Nigerians 10th Senate

Former Governor of Akwa Ibom state and former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio has being elected President of the Nigeria 10th Senate.

The house was inaugurated today and voting starts about 8:45am.

Out of the 109 Senators, Akpabio pulled 63 to emerges President. While his closest rival Yari scored 46 votes.

Sen Godswill Akpabio has being declared the President of the Nigeria Senate.

However, Senate Jubrin Barau was also elected as Deputy President of the Senate. He was elected unopposed where there was no nominations after he was nominated.
