Niger Delta advocate, social crusader and politician, Comr Keneware Emmanuel popularly known as the ‘Pentiger’ has stated that Olorogun Otega Emerhor, a founding member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and 2015 Governorship aspirant of Delta state deserves a federal portfolio.
According to him, Emerhor has worked tirelessly to ensure the popularity of the APC in Delta State.
In a press statement made available to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to Briga News Nigeria, Comr Keneware advocated that denying Olorogun Otega Emerhor, who has large political followership across the 25 local Government and beyond a federal appointment is not just appalling but a gross neglect of the ardent followers and party faithfuls in the state.
He however, urges President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to give Olorogun Otega Emerhor a renowned federal appointment to enable ardent supporters and party faithfuls feel the impact and dividends of democracy in the state.
In his words, “Emerhor has a founding leader of the APC, is a political father figure with wide followership.
“A philanthropist qua humanitarian who has rendered help and impacted many lives.
“Your Excellency, Olorogun Otega Emerhor was the one that popularized the APC and took it to the nooks and crannies of Delta State. Hence, deserve a federal portfolio that will enable him to spread the dividends of democracy to Deltans in your administration.
“Delta State is a PDP dominated state. Which made the APC an opposition.
Appointing the likes of Olorogun Otega Emerhor, who is a strong political figure will help to put a strong fight in the state. He added
