As the Ijaw Nation prepares yet again to celebrate the founding father( Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro) of the Ijaw Struggle, Comr. Nicholas Igarama, the frontline chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming IYC Western Zone Election, has opined that Ijaw Youth should put up a culture of service.

Selfless service is the only vehicle that can enable us break forth into unconventional realms of progress in our contemporary Ijaw Struggle. The Boro personality is one that embodied selfless service and it will be a de-service to ourselves and the efforts of our fallen heroes if we do not make international efforts to render sacrificial service to our people.

As we March in the creeks and streets of the Niger Delta and beyond let us remember that great achievement will always come with quantum sacrifice and like the sacrifice made by Boro and his compatriots we must start making in roads of progress on better ways at which we can sacrifice for the betterment of our region.

As we prepare for yet another transition in the Western Zone let us understand and study the candidates who are vying for various offices and elect those who we think can take up the mantle of leadership, sacrificing exponentially for the advancement of Western zone and the entire Ijaw Nation.

Ijaw Nation is marching forward, so let us all rise and make bold declaration as we celebrate our Icon, our Idol, our Hero, and our Pathfinder.

Long Live Boro!!!

May God continue to Prosper Ijaw Nation.

Comr. Nicholas Igarama, Chairmanship Aspirant, IYC, Western Zone
