The Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Iduwini Clan structure, Central Zone, Bayelsa State has been knockout from the 2-day Pre-Season Football Tournament held at Mote Gardens, adjacent Total Filling Station, Otokutu junction, Warri, Delta State.
The football tournament which was organised to engage and raise young promising and future young stars witnessed the exit of Team Iduwini.
Briga Media gathered that the participation of Team Iduwini was a conscious effort made by Comr. Enosh Samson, Assistant Secretary of Iduwini IYC. Who paid in full, the registration fee and call on football stars in the kingdom to showcase their talents.
According to him, this is part of his campaign promises to the youths by ensuring that their football potentials be seen and catapulted to the international arena.
However, during the 2-day pre season tournament, Team Iduwini was knockout.
Being not perturbed, Comr. Enosh express gratitude to all football players who heeded to his call and represented the kingdom in the tournament.
In his words, “I feel some level of accomplishment for youths to have promptly responded to my call and show full readiness to advance their football potentials.
I promise to do my best to see that their skills are given the needed attention”.
