Upon the inauguration of the National Assembly on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, youths under the auspices of Ogulagha Youth Association has Congratulates their own and member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House Of Representative, Rt Hon Julius Pondi, on his successful inauguration as a third term member of the house.
In the same vein, the Youths heartily roll out barrels of congratulations to Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor on his historic emergence as Speaker of Delta 8th Assembly.
The group expresses their glee and euphoria stating that they are grateful to God for politically catapulting two sons of Ogulagha Kingdom to such a higher height.
Speaking on behalf of the Youth, President of Ogulagha Youth Association, Comr. Austin Tukorogha said that the entire kingdom is proud of their achievements and the history they have made.
While Rt Hon Julius Pondi has conservatively clinch the House Of Representative seat in Burutu Federal Constituency for the third time. A feat which has never been achieved in Burutu politics.
Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor is the second Ijaw to be elected as speaker of the Delta State House Of Assembly and first from the Ogulagha/Gbaramatu axis.
President Tukorogha also uses the opportunity to appeal to them to fast track more infrastructural development projects in the kingdom.
He urges the duo to use their good office to influence and lobby more appointments to deserving sons and daughters in the kingdom to be in position of authority.
The group however, pray for the duo for God to grant them the needed wisdom to excel and make progress in their various chambers and be the best amongst their equals.
