Frontline Aspirant for National Spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Worldwide Comr. Awipi Lawson has condole with the Ijaw Nation over the sudden, shocking and tragic death of illustrious sons and daughters of Ijaw Nation on Sunday June 11, 2023.
Awipi expresses profound grief and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the entire Ijaw Nation that has being thrown into mourning.
He stated that the losses are collosal and monumental to the entire Ijaw Nation and not only their families.
According to him, It is unfortunate that the likes of Chief Joseph Ekeremieye, Ikesima Brown, popularly known as the Niger Delta Highlife Queen and others who are contributing their quota in the liberation of the Niger Delta through music is no more. It is indeed heart breaking.
Also, the death of four others who where on their way to Asaba to cheer up the Bayelsa Queens same-day is really devastating.
The former Information Officer of Western Zone also extend his concern and prayers for the survivors currently undergoing treatment in the various hospitals wishing them swift and quick recovery.
Lawson had particularly expresses his condolences to the Barrister Smooth Musical Band, the people and Government of Bayelsa State, families of the deceases, and pray that God give them all the fortitude to bear the loss.
