Leadership of the revered Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, has rolled out gowns of felicitations to Rt Hon Julius Gbabujor Pondi, Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, in the House Of Representative and Chairman House Committee on Environment on his meritorious victory at the court of appeal in Lagos.
According to them, Pondi’s victory is a testament of his leadership acumen, democratic dividends and proven political sagacity.
This was contained in a press statement made available to newsmen, signed by President of OKYC, Comr. Roland Pere-ebi Dede, a copy of which was sent to Briga News Nigeria.
The group which house the entire youths from the oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, applaud the judiciary for upholding the will of Burutu people who freely gave their mandate to Hon Julius Pondi on February 25th, 2023.
The statement reads…
Hon Julius Pondi is the choice of Burutu people and we are very much proud of him.
We give kudos to the Nigerian judiciary for upholding the will of the people. It has indeed demonstrated that it is the last hope of the common man.
Now that the legal battle is over, we call on the opposition party to join Hon Pondi in moving Burutu Federal Constituency to a greater height.
As we are very confident that in this third term, coupled with him being the House Committee Chairman on Environment, Hon Pondi will explore his vast experience in the house for a superlative, robust and quality representation that will yield the needed dividends.
