Renowned youth group operating under the umbrella body of Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, has pulled out barrels of felicitations to Amb Dr. Shedrack Agediga on his appointment and official inauguration has Chairman, Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board.
According to them, the appointment is well deserving and a product of hardwork, noting that Agediga has indeed shown capacity by working relentlessly in the last elections for the PDP’s victory.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Warri, signed by President of the group, Comr. Roland Pere-ebi Dede, a copy of which was sent to Briga News Nigeria, the group expresses their elation and euphoria, stating that Agediga’s appointment is long overdue, as it has being a heartfelt prayer of the youths.
Speaking further, the group expresses confidence in Agediga, describing him as a ‘capacity personified leader’ who always deliver on the responsibility saddled on him.
Meanwhile, President Dede in his statement, extol Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for finding an Ogulagha Kingdom son worthy of such juicy appointment, noting that Agediga as a strategist and visionary, will key into the M.O.R.E Agenda of the governor to bring the needed change, development and democratic dividends to students and scholars alike.
“We believe in the foresight and leadership acumen of Amb Shedrack Agediga.
With him, Delta State students will experience a prompt payment of bursary as at when due, as well as scholarships, study leave and grants for deserving academic scholars”.
“However, we still called on the people’s Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to give more appointments to youths and other deserving individuals in Ogulagha Kingdom who sacrifice and work effortlessly to deliver the party during the last general elections”. He added.
