“Yes it is the duty of Government to build infrastructure but it is also some Governments that abandon infrastructure projects.

“Your Excellency, I think future leaders have a lot to learn from you , especially in the area of budgeting and project implementation.
“It is not enough to have thousand and one projects in your budget just to satisfy political yearnings of the people, what is important is to flag off a project and ensure it is completed and commissioned for use and this is exactly what you have been doing for us in Rivers State up till your last days in office.

Dr. Lloyd encouraged the incoming administration in Rivers State to emulate Gov Nyesom Wike’s commitment to project implementation to consolidate on the achievements of his administration.

” I think the incoming administration must take a cue from what you have done; what makes a government is not the number of abandoned projects here and there but the commitment to have projects completed because it is only when projects are completed that the end users will benefit from them”.

The council chairman thanked Gov Nyesom Wike for discovering Odido community and giving them a road for the very first time since the existence of the community.

“Today there’s a brand new road for the people of Odido for the very first time since the community was founded and the people are here to show appreciation for what you have done for them”.

” We cannot count our blessings from your administration; we cannot count all the things you have done for us in Emohua local government area.

According to Emolga council Boss; it was in appreciation of Gov Nyesom Wike’s loving kindness towards the people of Emohua LGA and in fulfillment of the promise made to the Governor that the people of the area voted massively in line with his directive in the just concluded National and State elections.

‘Your Excellency, recall that we did promise you during the electioneering campaigns when you came here to tell us how to vote, we promised to speak with our votes and am sure that the people of Emohua LGA spoke resoundingly in the general election and that was why we came third amongst the 23 LGAs in Rivers State in the elections in terms of our votes”.

The Paramount Ruler of Emohua Kingdom, HRM Sir Ohna Sergeant Awuse who led other Government recognized traditional rulers in Emohua LGA to perform the presentation of kola nuts at the commissioning ceremony said the people of Emohua LGA are grateful to Gov Nyesom Wike for all the Governor had done and is still doing in the LGA, reiterating the people’s continuous support and loyalty to the Gov Nyesom Wike even after the expiration of his tenure as Governor of Rivers State.
