Burutu Council Boss Ikisa, Approves Monthly Stipend for Oldest Man, Woman in 71 Major Communities Across the LGA

Burutu Council Chairman, Hon Chief Combolous Konboye Ikisa has approved and made available monthly stipends for the oldest man and woman of 71 Major Communities that made up Burutu Local Government.

The approval was made during a joint Executive meeting held on Wednesday at the chairman’s office.

Ikisa in his remark states that the elderly needs to feel the impact of Government as well as the dividends of democracy. Hence, his administration has deem it necessary to include the eldest by giving them a monthly stipends.

However, In a bid to prioritize infrastructural development in his administration, Hon Ikisa has also approved the construction of a link road from the office of the Local Education Authority (LEA) route connecting to the residential quarters of the DSS in the local government headquarters. This is to enable free flow of movement among residents.

Also, in an attempt to placate the water suffering of the staff and students, the Burutu Council Boss Ikisa, equally approved the construction of boreholes for the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu.
