As you embark on this new chapter of your service, I wish you every success and fulfillment in your endeavors.

As your inauguration announces your immediate call to duty I would like to draw your attention to a pressing matter that requires your urgent intervention. The communities of Gbekobo and Obuguru (Agip), in Burutu Local Government are currently facing a grave threat in the form of erosion. The continuous erosion poses a significant risk to the livelihoods, infrastructure, and overall well-being of the residents.

I humbly request that you prioritize addressing the challenges faced by these communities in your respective jurisdictions. It is imperative to implement effective erosion control measures to mitigate further damage and protect the affected areas. By working in collaboration with relevant agencies, experts, and community leaders, you can develop comprehensive strategies to combat erosion and ensure the safety and stability of these communities.

Investing in erosion control measures such as retaining walls, drainage systems, and reforestation initiatives will be crucial in preventing further land degradation and safeguarding the lives and properties of the residents. Additionally, engaging with the affected communities, listening to their concerns, and involving them in decision-making processes will foster a sense of ownership and encourage sustainable solutions.

Once again, congratulations on your successful inauguration, and I have full confidence in your abilities to address the pressing issues at hand. Your commitment to serving the people and fostering sustainable development will undoubtedly guide you in finding effective solutions for Gbekobo and Obuguru (Agip).
