The Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, 2026 conference has once again received a big boost has the Chairman, Delta Bursary and Scholarship Board, Amb Shedrack Agediga endorses the conference.
In a courtesy visit led by the President, Comr. Roland Pere-ebi Dede, who explicitly give a highlight of the conference, noting that it’s major aim is targeted at the youth of the kingdom, and how to diversify the economy and not solely reliance on crude oil.
Dede hints on the need for youths of the kingdom to learn different skills and technological advancement, particularly in the current world where internet and technology is at its peak.
He further admonishes Amb Agediga, as a former President of the OKYC. While asserting that during Agediga’s dispensation, he participated and learnt alot. He appreciated him for laying the foundation that is yielding maximal fruit now.
On his part, the former Executive Director, Project Research and Statistics, DESOPADEC, thank the kingdom youths under the leadership of Roland Dede for initiating such a remarkable conference aimed at enlightening and awakening the kingdom youths.
According to him, he is fully in support and will do his best to ensure the conference is a huge success.
“A conference of this nature is a necessity so our teeming youths can learn new knowledge and innovations inorder to square up with their peers anywhere around the world.
It is this vision we have that made us built the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth ICT center in Ogulagha town.
I therefore commend your efforts in putting this initiative up. He added.
