Gone are the days, that youths will be passive in the selection process of our LGA Chairman, this time we’ll be deeply involved and active in the selection process. Especially, as a party that wants to win all our elective positions in Burutu LGA in the fourth coming 2027 general elections, we must go for the best championship aspirant to deliver the benefits of democracy to our people.
Hence, our hands are open for all aspirants to brief Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders of their developmental plans, they have for the LGA, which we have been receiving many in person, others on proxy, while others in the media space.
In our stakeholders meeting at Warri, where youth stakeholders were drawn from all wards from Burutu North and South, Environmentalist Franklin D. Magada Former Senior Special Assistant(SSA) on Environmental Protection Agency DELSEPA to the Governor, unanimously adapted as the Coordinator of the Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders.
While the Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders roll out its modus operandi for the assessment, evaluation and x-raying of Chairmanship aspirants to come out with the best candidate in our disposal to the public and forward that aspirant to the Governor for onward PDP candidate for the LGA.
The stakeholders express deep concern and keen interest in the development of the local government and frown at any anti-developmental elements that will further bring the LGA backward developmental, we want development that’s happening in other parts of the state to also be seen in our LGA.
On the fourth coming LGA election, the Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders says, it’s not going to be business as usual where selection/primary of the party flag bearer will be made without the opinion of the larger majority of the youth constituency that makes up the LGA.
As stakeholders in the electioneering process, we are going to X-ray, assess, evaluating all the chairmanship aspirants, with world class leadership parameters like educational backgrounds, experience in public governance, public engagement, character, service to humanity, financial accountability and many more, and come out with the best that have this leadership parameters to make known to the Governor and all other relevant stakeholders, for the larger interest of Burutu LGA.
