Renowned Niger Delta activist, social crusader and Media mogul, Comr Keneware Emmanuel popularly known has the Pentiger has lambast Hon Julius Takeme, the Executive Chairman, Burutu Local Government Area over the long abandoned Ogulagha Health Center Project.
According to the youth activist, the Health Center Project was initiated by the former Council Chairman, Rt Hon Godknows Angele, who is now the Commissioner of Housing, Delta State.
“Takeme is yet to do anything in Ogulagha.
It is a shame that despite the huge revenue accruing from Ogulagha to the local Govt coffers, no local Govt project is in Ogulagha to make the people feel the impact and dividend of democracy at the grassroot level.
“The Ogulagha shore road that was approved is yet to kickstart after a long while yet it is written has one of the achievements of Hon Julius Takeme. What a shame and cheap way to gain public trust on a project that has not being executed.
“Takeme should has a matter of urgency kickstart the completion of the Ogulagha Health Center Project, has it stands as the only local Govt project in Ogulagha Community and the Kingdom at large.
“While we join the host of others to celebrate the one year anniversary of our dear Council Chairman, Hon Julius Takeme, we urge him to prioritize the Ogulagha Health Center Project and ensure its completion with the adequate medical equipment.
“It is better to commend and applaud the achievements of a public office holder, but much more better to point out areas of weakness in order to make the person improve.
