The letter reads in full…
Dear Sir/Ma
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to appeal for your support in funding a skill acquisition program that aims to empower the youth in Ogulagha kingdom.
As a concerned Daughter of the Ogulagha kingdom, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by our young individuals in securing sustainable employment opportunities. Many of them lack the necessary skills and training to compete in the job market, leading to unemployment and a sense of hopelessness.
To address this pressing issue, I have developed a comprehensive skill acquisition program that will equip participants with practical skills in various fields such as 1, first aider, 2, baking of cake, 3, tying of hair, 4 soap making,,5 hairdressing ,By providing them with these skills, we aim to empower them to become self-reliant and create their own livelihoods.
However, in order to successfully implement this program, we require financial assistance. The estimated budget for the skill acquisition program is 1.650 million Naira. This budget will cover the costs of training materials, instructors’ fees, venue rent, and administrative expenses.
I firmly believe that investing in the youth through skill acquisition programs is an effective way to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for our community. By supporting this program, your foundation will be making a tangible and lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
I kindly request your consideration in providing the necessary funding to make this skill acquisition program a reality. Your foundation’s support will not only benefit the participants directly but will also contribute to the overall development and prosperity of our community.
I am open to any form of collaboration and am willing to provide detailed project plans, progress reports, and financial accountability to ensure transparency and accountability in the utilization of the funds.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our appeal. We sincerely hope that your foundation will see the value and potential of this skill acquisition program and join me in empowering the youth of our community.
