An administration is termed to be people oriented when it’s goals, objectives and purposes is aimed at bettering and prospering the lives of the people.
The Roland Dede led Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, can be said to have given the revered organization a facelift, a renewed hope and a massive recognition in and out.
Dede led Exco assume office on 11th February 2023, and in less than eight months has made tremendous impact and input worth commending and applauding.

In less than a year, the OKYC Executive under the visionary, foresight, dedicated leadership of Comr. Roland Pere-ebi Dede has paid courtesy visit to the Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon John Nani, the Honourable Commissioner for Oil & Gas, Delta State, Chief Vincent Oyibode, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon Jamani Ejiro, the Chairman, Delta State Waterway and Land Security Committee, Chief Boro Opudu, to advocate for Ogulagha Youth inclusion, a visit to the National Assembly and the House Committee on Public hearing and petitions over the unwarranted downsizing of Ogulagha Community indigenous workers with the flimsy excuse of Covid-19 pandemic among host of others.
It has also held general meetings inline with the constitution. Since communication is a pivotal aspect in governance, the Dede led OKYC has continued to ditched the necessary informations to the youths via meetings and the OKYC social media platform.

It is said that meat that has fat will be proven with the heat of fire. Over and again, Dede has proven leadership of servanthood, service and selflessness.
Being a square peg in a square hole. The current crop of OKYC leaders deserve encomiums and standing ovation.
Meanwhile, the exceeding success and greater achievement of an administration is proportional to the good wishes and prayers of the people. Hence, the ernest, fervent and heartfelt prayers of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youths to enable the Roland Dede led government achieve the desired aim of prospering the average Ogulagha Youth is a desideratum.
However, as a proponent of Oliver twist, the Ogulagha Kingdom Youths can’t help but asked for more. This is so because the highest form of improvement is to do more. The path of the just is as a shinning light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day, Proverbs 4:18.
Better is not good enough, the best is yet to come.
