Hon. Chief John Nani Esq has being screened and will be sworn in as the Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.
This is coming after weeks when the former board was dissolved by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. The former board was chaired by Hon Micheal Diden who later resigned to pursue the Delta South Senatorial seat.
Chief John Nani was a Senatorial aspirant for Delta Central, who lost the PDP ticket to Chief Amori Oghoyita.
As at the time of filing this report, other members of the board is also being screened and they awaits being sworn in by the Governor.
While the position of M.D is set to be given to Chief Festus Ochonogor.
