Immediate past Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Obotebe Clan, Comr. Andaowei Anthony Okou has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating High Double Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, who was recently honoured with the prestigious title of “Niger Delta Man of the People” at the GbaramatuVoice 10th Anniversary Celebration held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
In his congratulatory message, Comr. Okou described the award as a fitting recognition of Chief Pondi’s tireless service, steadfast commitment, and enduring contributions to the growth and development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.
Chief Pondi has remained unwavering in his dedication to every responsibility entrusted to him. His consistent efforts toward the betterment of our people make him truly deserving of this honour. This is not only his personal achievement but also a source of pride and inspiration to the entire Niger Delta, he stated.
Comr. Okou further expressed confidence that Chief Pondi’s recognition would inspire more leaders across the region to emulate his passion for service, humility, and excellence.
