In what he describe as the best parliamentary decision, Niger Delta activist and media guru, Comr Keneware Emmanuel popularly known as the ‘Pentiger’ has hail the 5th Mobile Parliament of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Worldwide for their intrepidity, ruggedity and bravery in the total impeachment and removal of the National Secretary General of Ijaw Youth Council, Worldwide, in person of Comr. Nangi Obu.
In a statement issued in Yenagoa to newsmen, Pentiger lambast the arrogance, selfish, outright rudeness and demigod posture of Nangi trying to arrogate himself as the god of Council with so much disdain and impetuosity.
He states that no one can cow Council to his whips and caprices. No even the National President.
The IYC Mobile Parliament should be dreaded and it’s sanctity upheld.
“How can an elected officer of Council poses himself as demi-god to the Council. Nangi Obu has eaten more than he can chew. Always making baseless accusations without ground, rubbing the revered Council to the mud.
Someone who has contested as National President and failed, then narrowly win with much begging as National Secretary General, ought to be more responsible and responsive on the mandate given to him by Ijaw Nation instead of putting Ijaw Nation to ridicule.
“I particularly appreciate the House Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition headed by Prince Okenema for their fact finding mission despite the difficulties encountered.
This will severe as a deterrent to others that as an elected officer of Council, you are entrusted with the responsible to serve Ijaw Nation and not cow or imposes yourself as a demigod to Ijaw people”.
“I also wish to respectfully pay barrels of gratitude to the Speaker of the 5th Mobile Parliament of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Worldwide, Rt Hon Bob Collins Igetei for his leadership foresight, sagacity, uncompromising nature and always standing by truth despite heavy bribery by the powers that be.
Posterity will definitely rewards you for your good heart”.
Pentiger added that the Parliament is the symbol of democracy and vehicle of social engineering reflecting the various Clans in Ijaw Nation hence, must be dreaded and accorded the distinct respect.
