Coordinator of Non-governmental organization, the Safe and Better Nigeria, Comrade Solomon Charles Ikpaka, has congratulated the CLECO Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Central Zone, Honourable Paul Ebikeseiye, over his appointment as Interim Director-General of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, New Media, Bayelsa State.
Solomon, in a statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday, also thanked the Prosperity Government led by Governor Douye Diri for finding Paul Ebikeseiye worthy to serve his party, the PDP.
He said the news of the appointment came with joy because Paul has shown capacity and proven his worth that he can be relied upon at all times, especially while serving as councillor representing Sagbama Ward 13 and chairman of the Boro Day planning committee under the umbrella of the IYC.
Solomon said this is coming because of his humility, agility and goal-driven-mindset that have continued to elevate him over the years; saying that Paul has always toed the path of truth and justice, never wanting to see any Ijaw man or woman marginalized or oppressed.
He recalled how Comrade Paul Ebikeseiye refused to be influenced by anyone during the leadership crisis that rocked the newly elected and inaugurated executive members of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Iduwini Clan – how he stood his ground until those who were duly elected were sworn into office.
The Safe and Better Nigeria Coordinator urged him to remain steadfast and focused – even in his new assignment of promoting the interest of the PDP on social media and beyond.
He prayed God to protect him and grant him more wisdom, knowledge and energy to continue to push forward in life.
