Yenagoa…..………… In what he describe as shameful, demeaning and anti-ijaw, Niger Delta activist and social influencer, Comr Keneware Emmanuel, popularly and widely known as the ‘Pentiger’ has lashes the IYC Eastern Zone National Leaders of Comr. Maobuye Nangi Obu, National Secretary, Comr. Miracle Iyaye, National Woman Leader, Barr Tamunotonye David Altraide, National Legal Advicer and Comr. Abiye Bob-Manuel, National Deputy Mobilization Officer over their mischievous and unguided attack on Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister for State Petroleum.
According to him, the IYC Eastern Zone National Leaders ought to hide their faces in shame, misery and pity for embarking on such anti-Ijaw mission, just to prove a point to the president of Council, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr.
In a press briefing in Yenagoa, Pentiger blast the Eastern Zone National Caucus of lacking the requisite knowledge of the Petroleum Ministry.
He schooled them by saying Sen Heineken Lokpobiri is not the original Minister of Petroleum but President Bola Tinubu. And that he only take directive from his superior and president at the same time before embarking on any exercise.
He assert that their biggest mistake is to ask for his redeployment as a result of his lack of competence as they alleged.
He asked by saying, “Was Sen Heineken Lokpobiri the one that announced the removal of fuel subsidy on May 29th, 2023, which has put the country to an unbearable state of misery till date or President Tinubu did?
“Should a junior Minister override his superior and president on the kickstarting of the Port Harcourt refinery?
“The Eastern Zone National Leaders should know that the Ijaws are major producers of the crude oil that feeds the Nigeria nation. Hence, the Minister of Petroleum Resources should be the exclusive rights of the Ijaw people. But this anti-Ijaw behaviour and ‘Pull Him Down’ syndrome from them and their likes is the problem why such offices are given to none Ijaws.
“Offices such as the Ministry of Niger Delta, NDDC MD, NNPC MD, Amnesty Coordinator etc are all offices exclusively for Ijaw people because their sweat and blood brought such to existence. But satanic, diabolical and devilish act such as this made some of such offices not to be occupied by Ijaw people.

“Nangi Obu and his co-travellers should know that internal issues ought to be settled internally within the executive.
Their act of asking for the replacement of an Ijaw illustrious son with only God knows who else, doesn’t reflect the offices they are holding. You can’t be in an Ijaw office meant to defend the people and territories of Ijaw Nation and be fighting an Ijaw illustrious son to leave office.
“Who else did they want to take the office of Minister of Petroleum Resources if obviously not Yoruba or Hausa, because it is glaring that Sen Heineken Lokpobiri is the only Ijaw man in the Federal Executive Council, FEC.
“Nangi and his cohorts should with immediate effect, apologize to Sen Heineken Lokpobiri and the entire Ijaw Nation else they are not worthy of their offices anymore.
Truism, it is biblical that a man’s enemies are those of his own household. Sen Heineken Lokpobiri’s enemies are those of his own Ijaw brothers from the Eastern flank that ought to protect and defend him before his external enemies.
“Nangi and his co-travellers should apologize now or face the wrath of the ancestors, and gods of Ijaw land.
He, however, throw weight on Sen Heineken Lokpobiri urging Ijaw Nation and Niger Deltans to support him. Stating that Lokpobiri is doing extremely well as Petroleum Minister for State and that if as junior Minister he could work like this. Then President Tinubu should consider given him the Senior Minister of Petroleum Resources because he is competent and knowledgeable to do the job to the fullest.
