… dedicates award to Bayelsans
Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri today received an award of honour from the West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (WAPCNM).
The award is in recognition of the government’s contribution to the development of the nursing profession and health sector in Nigeria.
“So, again, this award is dedicated to all of us, members of Exco and, indeed, to the people of Bayelsa State and those very hardworking administrators in the college of nursing in the Niger Delta University”, Governor Diri stated.
The award was presented to Senator Douye Diri by the Commissioner for Health, Prof. Seiyefa Brisibe who received the award on behalf of the Governor at the 144th state executive council meeting in the Exco Chamber of Government House, Yenagoa.
