Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, OON, the founding leader of the Delta chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warmly congratulated the newly elected state executives, who are under the capable leadership of Chief Solomon Areyenka.
Emerhor who was present at the state Congress that held in Asaba, seconded the motion introduced by Rt Hon Victor Ochei, for the formal dissolution of the former executive committee. This decisive move highlights a collective commitment to refreshing the leadership of the party as it heads into a pivotal electoral phase.
In his brief address, Emerhor expressed his sincere appreciation for the leadership demonstrated by His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori. He lauded Oborevwori for fostering an inclusive environment that unites both new and founding members of the party, which is crucial for solidifying APC’s presence in Delta State.
Emerhor emphasized the importance of accessibility and openness, urging the newly elected executives to be approachable and responsive to all party members. He encouraged them to actively engage with constituents and to diligently mobilize support, ensuring the party’s strength as they prepare for the upcoming 2027 elections.
Looking ahead, Emerhor confidently asserted that by 2027, the APC should face no opposition in any elections, setting a clear vision for the party’s future in Delta State.
