Ogulagha Kingdom born APC Chieftain and former aspirant for Delta State House Of Assembly, Burutu North, Hon Prince Ebikeme Marvel has declared his interest to contest for the Burutu Local Government Council Chairman under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
He made this known via a statement made available to newsmen which is titled “Prosperity For Burutu People”.
The grassroot mobilizer and dogged Politician states that it is time to liberate Burutu people and take the local Government to a greater height with the people feeling the impact of Governance and even distribution of democratic dividends.
Ebikeme who advocate that it is time for the people to choose their Council Chairmen and Councillors via the ballot just like how it is done in the general elections, call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grant the local Government autonomy and enable the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to conduct local Government elections.
He decries the PDP’s high-handedness, greed and handpicking of unqualified and unpopular candidates to impose on the people in Delta State, particularly Burutu Local Government, opining that the days of such is over.
Prince Ebikeme Marvel is a young, vibrant, energetic and articulate young lad. He is a business tycoon and politician.
