Warri………………. Delta House Of Assembly Speaker’s younger brother, Comr. Bright Guwor and several others has flee Egbo community, Ughelli South of Delta State has a result of the incessant kidnapping rocking the area.
According to source, people no longer live in their homes because of fear of being kidnapped.
Many residents and house owners has deserted their beautiful and luxurious homes to their villages.
Briga Media gathered that Egbo community enroute Otokutu has become Delta’s new hotbed for kidnapping.
Bright Guwor, who spoke to our correspondent, states that every well meaning individual living in the area has left their beautiful personal buildings and run for safety. While many are now squitting with family members in the Warri township, himself and others are paying heavily living in an hotel.
It was learnt that Victims when kidnapped are either ask to pay heavy ransom or being killed. This is a pathetic tale on our present times. That the once peaceful habitation of Egbo has now turn to hub of kidnapping.
Residents are calling on security agencies, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State and the Chief Security Officer of the State, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to intervene and brought perpetrators of this heinous act to book.
