Delivering on its people-first commitment, the Delta State Government has cleared the backlog of pensions owed to over 11,000 local government workers and primary school teachers.
The Chairman of the Delta State Bureau of Local Government Pensions, Mr. Benjamin Igo, described the intervention as a “game-changer” in resolving years of accumulated arrears that had left many retirees in financial distress.
