The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon Chief Combolous Konboye Ikisa has rolled out barrels of felicitations to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on his resounding victory at the election tribunal sitting in Asaba.
Ikisa who describe the victory as ‘the wishes of Deltans’ dedicate the ruling of the tribunal to God.
Stating that Sheriff Oborevwori is God’s anointed Governor for Delta state.
While Celebrating Oborevwori’s Victory, Ikisa states that Delta State is PDP firm stronghold and it was demonstrate in the polls, where the party won massively in 21 local governments out of the 25 LGAs that make up the state.
Speaking further, Ikisa thank all party faithfuls, chieftains and supporters for their resilience, perseverance and prayers to the party and her candidates as well as the Oborevwori led Govt aimed at giving M.O.R.E meaningful infrastructural development to Deltans.
Recalled that the Governorship tribunal sitting in Asaba on Friday 29, September, 2023, dismisses the petition filed by the All Progressive Congress, APC, and Sen Ovie Omo-agege for lack of merit and non compliance with the electoral act.
