Traders in Akwa Ibom State have lauded Governor Umo Eno for his transparent distribution of empowerment packages to boost small and medium-scale businesses.
At a meeting of the Ibom Traders Association in Uyo, the traders passed a vote of confidence on the Governor and in a dramatic show of support, the association donated ₦100 million to back Governor Eno’s re-election bid in 2027, describing the gesture as appreciation for his commitment to grassroots traders.
Representatives of the State Government thanked the traders, assuring them of the Governor’s continued focus on poverty reduction and a business-friendly environment.
