Commander, Joint Task Force (JTF), Operations Delta Safe (OPDS), Rear Adm. Noel Madugu, has emphasized the need for meaningful collaboration with private pipeline surveillance firms like Tantita Security Surveillance Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL) to achieve Nigeria’s crude oil production target of three million barrels per day.
During his visit to the operational head office of Tantita in Ugborikoko, Delta State, Madugu reaffirmed that achieving this goal requires synergy among stakeholders, adding that Tantita must continue engaging communities and enhancing corporate social responsibility.
He was accompanied by Navy Capt. Ikenna Okoloagu, Commanding Officer of Forward Operating Base (FOB) Escravos, and other senior officers of the JTF.
Managing Director of TSSNL, Chief Kestin Pondi welcomed the delegation and called for sustained cooperation between Tantita and the JTF to curb crude oil theft in the Niger Delta. He highlighted the sacrifices made in securing Nigeria’s oil assets and the environmental improvements recorded through their efforts.
