The Delta State Commissioner for Urban Renewal, Engr. Michael Anoka, has successfully launched a business grants empowerment program through his Michael Anoka Foundation (MAF), benefiting over 100 women and youth in Ogume community.
Anoka issued business grants and startup capital aimed at improving businesses and fostering entrepreneurship in the state.
He commended the state Governor His Excellency, RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the D-CARE initiative, which has provided substantial assistance to families and businesses across the state.
Engr. Anoka noted that his foundation’s initiative was inspired by the D-CARE program and assured that more communities in Delta State would benefit from similar projects in the future.
A beneficiary Mrs. Ruth Iyachi, speaking on behalf of all, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Michael Anoka Foundation, praising Commissioner Anoka for his unwavering support for women, youth, and the entire Ogume community over the years.
She assured the Commissioner that the beneficiaries would make judicious use of the grants and will continue to support the administration of the state Government.
Represented by his wife, Mrs. Robo Anoka, the commissioner assured Deltans that the foundation would remain a vital channel for humanitarian assistance and support for Deltans.
