Delta State Transport Commissioner Mr Onoriode Agofure has inaugurated Members of the Delta State Transportation Data Management Law 2022 and QR Code project.
Agofure inaugurated the all important Committee members that comprises Stakeholders that cut across different walks of life,at the Prof Chike Edozien Secretariat Complex along Maryam Babangida Road , Asaba the State Capital.
The Committee members inaugurated included the representatives from Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Association (COMTOA), National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW), Department of State Services(DSS),Operators of numerous Motor Parks,as well as the State Internal
Revenue Task force Chairman on revenue leakage.
Agofure reiterated that the passage of the Transportation Data Management, was to transform the transportation sector,in building a more efficient,transparent,secure and responsive transportation system.He added that the system would leverage data to drive decisions, enhances service delivery and ensures the safety and convenience of all road users.
