Since the days of our founding fathers, we have faced countless challenges in our quest to build a nation that stands as a beacon of pride for the black race worldwide. These challenges have grown more complex in recent times, as internal conflicts and national hunger threaten to disrupt the fragile peace we have left.
While these facts are undeniable, Nigeria at 64 presents us with yet another opportunity to reshape our future and claim a collective victory.
To achieve the Nigeria of our dreams, we must learn from the missteps of our past and commit ourselves to the hard work of nation-building. Every Nigerian must play an honest role in ensuring the peaceful and progressive development of our great nation.
As we celebrate this special independence anniversary, I join fellow patriots in calling for determined actions that mirror our aspirations for a peaceful, prosperous Nigeria, both for ourselves and the generations to come.
