Old Students’ Association of Ogulagha Set To Celebrate School’s 44th Anniversary, Reunion of Old Students

The Ogulagha Secondary School Old Students Association (OSSOSA), Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has kickstart plans to celebrate the school’s 44th anniversary and reunion of old Students.

Ogulagha Secondary School, which was founded in October 10th, 1980, has produce great number of intellectuals and graduates of different fields and works of life. Some of which are now captains of industries, business moguls, academias of main repute, renowned politicians, heads of government parastatals, board members, MD/CEO’s of giant establishment amongst others.

The event which promises to be mind-blowing, awesome, historic and funfare will be held on the 10th of October, 2024, at Elizabeth Royal Hall, Eliko Hotel, Ekpan.

According to the official statement signed by Comr. Amb Shedrack Agediga, Chairman Planning Committee and Comr. Bright Guwor, Secretary Planning Committee, the event will be all encompassing and needed in this present times inorder to reunite old students as well as find a way to contribute back to the alma mater by helping vulnerable students achieve their educational goals.

The Theme of the event is captioned “My Almer Mata; The Foundation That Shaped My Existence. With Esabunor O.N Reuben, National President, Urhobo College Old Students Association as Guest Speaker.

The Special Guest of Honour is Rt Hon Julius Gbabujor Pondi, Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House Of Representative. While the royal father of the day is HRM Elder Capt King Joseph I Timiyan JP, PhD, Torubobou 1, Agbonu, The Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom and Chairman, Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, Delta State.

LETTER OF INFORMATION/NOTIFICATION

We wish to officially write to notify you of the existence of the Ogulagha Secondary School Old Students Association (OSSOSA) and the need for us to have a Re-union or a get-together party as follows;
Date: 10th of October, 2024,
Venue: Elizabeth Royal Hall Eliko Hotel, Ekpan.

We intend to organize this Re-union party so we could;
1. Re-unite as Old students of Ogulagha Secondary School with our different sets or Classes.
2. To see what we can possibly do or contribute to our Alma mater as a way of giving back to the school
3. To see how we could possibly support or assist the vulnerable ones in amongst us.

Therefore, we plead with you as a highly respected personality both in the society and as a former senior student of Ogulagha Secondary School, to grace this epoch making occasion
