In a tightly and fiercely contested elections, youths under the umbrella body of Odimodi Youth Movement, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has today, Saturday 16th December, 2023, elected their new Executive that will pilot the affairs of the youth in the next dispensation of two years.
As the Comr. Tarede led Youth Exco winds down, a new crop of leaders have emerged.
While Laide C. Laide Emerges the new President polling a total of 17 votes out of 30 votes, Comr. Okpako Godspower, his closest rival came second polling a total of 10 votes, while Company Benarede came third, polling 3 votes.

Ezekiel Gbegha – 14 Votes
Ebifagha Mienebi – 16 Votes (Winner)

George Eboloubode – 10 votes
Wisdom Igbei – 16 Votes (Winner)
Endoro Patrick – 4 Votes

The new Executives will rule for the next two years before the expiration of their tenure.
As the time of filing this report, there’s massive jubilation in Odimodi federated Community.
While reacting to his victory, President elect, Odimodi Federated Youth Movement, thanked God for his mercies and grace to emerge.
He also thank the Odimodi Youth and the entire community for trust and privileged given to him to serve. Noting that he came to continue the legacies of the outgoing administration and to correct the little hills.
