Warri………. The MD/CEO of Godspenal International and Burutu Chairmanship Hopeful, Chief Amb Apst Godspower Tomone, the Amatelemowei of Ogulagha Kingdom has felicitates with the member representing Burutu Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Environment, Rt Hon Julius Gbabujor Pondi on his victory at the court of appeal.
Tomone, who lauds the effective and quality representation of Hon Pondi, states that the euphoric judgement is a victory for Burutu people.
In his goodwill message sent to Briga News Nigeria, Tomone describe the victory as “well deserving and a testament of the voice of the people”.
In his words “the good people of Burutu Federal Constituency spoke through their votes and now the court has upholds the voice of the people.
“The will of the people must always prevail. Hence, it is a victory for democracy which is a government of the people.
“It is therefore my heartfelt prayer that God will take Hon Pondi to a higher height in his political voyage, and continue to do the needful for his people.
Recalled that the Court of appeal sitting in Lagos on 7 November, 2023 dismisses the petition filed by the APC candidate Dr Efiriandi Agbeotu of the February 25th, 2023 elections, with allegations of voter buying, voters inducement among others.
The case was struck out and Rt Hon Julius Pondi of the PDP was declared winner.
