His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State has received former Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, back to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr. Iworiso-Markson, left to contest the House of Representatives seat for Ogbia Federal Constituency under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Receiving him back alongside his followers, Governor Diri, directed the PDP leadership in the state to restore all rights and privileges of the decampees.
“Even while he left for SDP, we have kept our relationship and friendship together. And our leader, the immediate past Governor, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, kept drumming it to us that we should reunite and bring everybody back ahead of our next gubernatorial election. Yesterday belongs to history. We are glad to welcome you back to your party”, Gov. Diri stated.
Iworiso-Markson, said he was back to join the mobilisation and support for the re-election of Governor Diri, whom he said had done very well to deserve another term.
