Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated with the Chairman, State’s Traditional Rulers Council and the Orodje of Okpe kingdom, HRM Retired Major General Felix Mujakperuo, CFR, mni, on his 18th year coronation anniversary.
Rt Hon Guwor commended the Orodje for his leadership and contributions to the nation’s development and wished him many more years of wisdom and good health, ahead of several anniversaries on the throne of his forefathers.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, said the Okpe Monarch’s guidance and counsel have been invaluable to the government and people of Delta State.
While soliciting for the Orodje’s sustained prayers and collaboration with Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori led administration in advancing the state, Guwor who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, urged the people of Okpe to continue to lend their support for more and greater positive narratives in the kingdom.

“Your Majesty’s reign has been marked by exceptional leadership, wisdom, and vision, which have contributed significantly to the peace, unity, and development of our dear state.
“As the Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, your guidance and counsel have been invaluable to the government and people of the state.
“I appreciate your tireless efforts in promoting the rich cultural heritage of your people and our state at large.
“Your role in fostering harmony among our traditional institutions and commitment to the well-being and progress of our state is truly commendable.
“As you celebrate your 18th year on the throne of your forefathers, i pray that God Almighty grant you continued good health, wisdom, and strength to reign.
“May your reign continue to be a blessing to our state and nation. Please accept my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on this special occasion”, Guwor stated.
