Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri today received political and traditional leaders of Ogbia Kingdom at his country home, Sampou community, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of the State.
The Ogbia delegation led by Hon. Mitema Obordor, member representing Ogbia federal constituency came to pay yuletide visit to the governor and appreciate him for the love he has shown to Ogbia people for the various elections and appointments of sons and daughters of the area.
Governor Diri also received Commissioners, Technical Advisers forum, Local Government Area Governor’s representatives and Government Secondary school Odi Alumni association.
Governor Diri thanked all the different groups for the visit.
He urged them to continue to maintain the peace, unity and security in Bayelsa State.
Gov. Diri equally emphasized his administration’s commitment to the human and infrastructural development of Bayelsa State.
“Our government is committed to the human and infrastructural development of our state”, Gov. Diri said.
