In what he described as laudable, Member Representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, Rt Hon Julius Gbabujor Pondi, PhD has endorses the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, conference slated to hold on the 23rd and 24th of January, 2026.
In a courtesy visit to his residence in Warri, Delta State, President of the OKYC, Comr. Roland Pere-ebi Dede appreciate Hon Pondi for his visionary leadership and his role of being a role model to younger generation.
Dede states that the conference is aimed at enlightening the kingdom youths to look beyond oil and engage themselves in various technological innovations and business.
“Instead of relying solely on IOCs for employment which rarely comes, it is our administration’s drive to impact youths to look beyond oil. Hence, this conference will enable us get resource persons who will speak and teach our Youths.
In response, Hon Pondi, who doubles has Chairman, House Committee on South South Development Commission described the initiative as laudable and commend the OKYC leadership for such an innovative program.
Pondi admonished that he is fully in support and will ensure he attend the program inorder to encourage and promote the youths.
