Burutu…………………….. There was massive crowd on Friday, June 28, 2024, as PDP State Chairman of Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso Storm Burutu, headquarters of Burutu Local Government Area ahead of the forthcoming local Government elections schedule to hold on July 13th, 2024.
The event witness the massive turnout of party Chieftains, stakeholders and faithful from across the eleven wards in the local Government.
Briga News gathered that the local Government campaign rally saw the colourful display of traditional dance group and several fanfare.
Top party Chieftains declares that Burutu is PDP and PDP is Burutu.
And that there is no opposition in Burutu.
Some dignitaries who grace the event include, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, PDP State Chairman, Delta State, Sen. James Manager, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House Of Assembly, Rt Hon Julius Pondi, Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Hon Peres Oloye, Member representing Burutu South Constituency, Mrs Alia, principal Secretary to Delta State Government, Hon Franc Enekorogha, Hon. Ebike Oromoni, PDP Chairman, Burutu LGA, Hon Dan Yingi, Hon Asupa Forteta, Amb Shedrack Agediga, Chairman, Delta Bursary and Scholarship Board, Hon Pullah Ekpotuayerin, Director General of the Burutu Campaign Council, Chief J.T Government, Chief Nieketen, Hon Paul Kurugbe, Hon Emmanuel Akpule.
Others are Hon Edeme Arede, Chief Francis Boumiebi, Chief Peter Tuasinde, Hon Mike Akpi, amongst many others.
Speaking at the event, Barr. Kingsley Esiso thank Burutu PDP party faithfuls for the large turnout and massive mobilization. He urge party faithfuls to remain steadfast, firm and resilient, and preach the PDP gospel in their various wards.
High points of the event is presentation of party flag to the twenty Councillorship candidates and the PDP Chairmanship Flagbearer, Chief Julius Takeme.
