The Attention of the leadership of the Amatu 2 community in Ekeremor local Government Area area of Bayelsa State has been drawn to a publication made by one Mr Peter David Ibomowei the impeached CDC Chairman of the community calling for the intervention of the Federal Government, Bayelsa State Government and security agencies that Amatu 2 community is under siege from gunmen and Militants, ordinarily we won’t have responded to such malicious and inresponsible publication made by a mad man running naked in the market square but to set the record straight.
It will be recalled that Mr Peter David Ibomowei was removed as the Chairman of the community in a town hall meeting on the 14th day of February 2025 over the embezzlement of public funds to the tune of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira (750,000) donated by an individual to help enrolled WAEC Students from the community but the money was diverted by Mr. Peter David Ibomowei and his group to their personal used.
Haven’t been removed as CDC Chairman, Mr Peter David Ibomowei mobilize some hoodlums, thugs and miscreants namely, Chief Amos Iyelagha, Mr Simon Okungbewei, Mr Paul Oweime, Mr Bena Oweime, Mr Presley Amos, Mr Godbless Amos and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who was given to them by one Mr Presley Iyalagha their sponsorer from Odimodi Community in Delta State to invade Amatu 2 community on the 18th day of February 2025 and was shooting sporadically and causing panic among residents in the community, harassing and intimating both men and women who opposed their criminal acts but was resisted by the youths and women of the community in collaboration with the Tantita Security Services Amatu unit ably let by the Coordinators Mr Man and Mr firstboy Job(Ejime).
We also want to use this medium to let the entire world know, most especially High Chief Government Empemupolo (AKA)TOMPOLO, the Federal Government of Nigeria, The bayelsa State Government and all security agencies that the Tantita Security Service and the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) is working with them in Amatu unit ably led by the coordinators (EJIME) is not interfering in any community issues neither harass or intimate any individuals in Amatu 2 community and it’s environs under our watch, rather the Tantita Security Service is helping the Community Executives in maintaining peace and order when the needs arises particularly in terms of external aggression just like the one the impeached CDC Chairman and his group did.
Again, we also want to let the whole world know that Hon. Berry Negerese is a respected, noble and law abiding citizen of Bayelsa State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria that is going about his lawful business and does not in anyway involved in kidnapping or harbouring of militants groups anywhere in the country, so we are calling on all security agencies in Bayelsa State to go after Mr Peter David Ibomowei the impeached CDC Chairman of Amatu 2 community and his co- travellers to question them on how he got his illegal Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) that he is using to intimidate and harrass his supposed enemies in Amatu 2 community.
Hon Berry Negerese does not have a hand in his removal as CDC Chairman so he should be bold enough to tell the whole world how he embezzled the sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira (750,000) that was meant to enrolled WAEC Students in the community and shared it with his hungry group in the community that led to his removal and stop calling the innocent man useless names.
It is also on record that Mr Peter David Ibomowei the impeached CDC Chairman of Amatu 2 community, Mr Ebimene Abaka (AKA) Small fire, a well know criminal and killer, Mr Tekena Abaka and their Militants group in 2014, precisely on the 10th day of May carryout the kidnapping of three expatriates that was accompanying Hon Berry Negerese, Government and Chevron Nigeria limited officials that was going to commission the cottage hospital that was built by the Dodo river rural development area in Amatu 2 community in Ekeremor local Government Area of Bayelsa State that led to the dead of Mr Paul Sebele a prominent son of Amatu 2 community and also rape the only woman among the expatriates at the letugbene waterfront.
We are appealing to the security agencies in Bayelsa State to please revisit this case with the state CID and brought this criminals and kidnapper’s to book before they carryout another kidnapping and killing they are planning to do in the Area again.
