The 2026 Ogulagha Kingdom Youth conference, an initiative of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, has continue to receive mega boost as series of leaders and well meaning personalities have continuously endorsed it.
In a courtesy visit to various leaders in the kingdom President Dede in his different speeches thank them for their immense contributions to the growth and development of the kingdom and youth empowerments.
He explained that the aim of the conference is to orient and enlightened our youths not to rely osolely on the oil sector but to diversify by acquiring other skills particularly technological innovations.
The immediate past Chairman of the oil rich Ogulagha Community and former President of the OKYC, Amb John Tuaghaye Bebeapere endorsed the conference as the leadership of the OKYC pay him a courtesy visit in his residence.
In his words, ‘this conference is long overdue and it is commendable that it is coming at this time.
“I thank you for your efforts and vision. I am fully endorsing and supporting it and will be on ground to grace it.
On his part, Hon Justice Timiade Akuna, the immediate past President of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council, OKYC, appreciated the team for the initiative, noting that a conference of this nature will alleviate poverty among the youths because they will all be working or having businesses to do.
He pledges total support, and enjoins them to keep up their good work for the betterment of the kingdom.
In the same vein, Youth advocate and peace ambassador, Amb Ato Deck Pere JP, has joined the league of leaders to endorse the conference.
Deckat, a leading aspirant for the OKYC Presidency states that he is fully in support of it, while commending the Roland Dede led Executives for their resilience, courage and vision.
The theme of the Youth Conference is “Entrepreneurship and Technological Advancement”. The conference is billed to holds on the 23rd and 24th, January, 2026, at Ogulagha Community Secretariat.
